日本語教育専門職大学院生の秋田市日本語教室の関わりと影響―元大学院生講師へのアンケート調査から―

要旨

本研究は，専門職大学院在学中に秋田市日本語教室で講師を務めた大学院生が地域日本語教育への関わりを通じてどのような影響を受けたかを調査し、キャリア形成や多文化共生社会への関心にどのような影響があったかを調査，分析することを目的とする。地域日本語教室である秋田市日本語教室は、秋田市主催で週一回開催され、大学院生は有償で講師を務め、地元講師と協働する形で運営されている。元大学院生に対するアンケート調査を行ったところ、地域日本語教育への関心の高まりや日本語教師としてのキャリア意識の向上などが期待できることが明らかになった。特に、地域日本語教育の魅力や困難さを体感し、多文化共生への意欲を高める要因として、地元講師との協働が重要な役割を果たしていることが示された。また、講師の経験を通じて日本語教師としての自信が育まれることが確認され、地域との連携が大学院生の成長に寄与していることが示唆された。

Involvement and Impact of Japanese Language Education Specialist Graduate Students in Akita City Japanese Language Classes – Report of Survey of Former Postgraduate Students –

Abstract

This study examines the impact of graduate students' participation in the Akita City Japanese Language Classroom on their career development and interest in multicultural society. The classroom, held weekly and organized by the city, involves collaboration between local instructors and paid graduate student teachers. A survey of former student instructors revealed increased interest in community-based Japanese language education and heightened career awareness. The findings emphasize the importance of collaboration with local instructors in fostering enthusiasm for multicultural coexistence and understanding the challenges of community language education. Teaching experience also boosted the students' confidence as Japanese language educators, highlighting the role of community engagement in their professional growth.
